DAY 2: 280 km distance, to be covered in about 7 hours
On the second day, we meet after enjoying a good breakfast for a briefing led by our guide. They will discuss the routes, equipment and rules during the trip. And then we hop on the machines and hit the road. In a group or solo, as you like. About 280km of Spanish routes are to be covered, roughly in 7 hours. On the way we recommend visiting the Abbey of Our Lady in Monserrat, because it's definitely worth it. You can have lunch at Cal Trumfo Restaurant (we have marked it in the navigation). And a comfortable hotel and specialties of local cuisine await you.
DAY 3: 265 km distance, to be covered in about 7 hours.
Typically, we start with a briefing and set off on the 265 km long road through the mountains. Along the way there are hundreds of curves, plenty of hairpin turns and breathtaking mountain scenery. There's a reason the N-260 road is called one of the best motorcycle routes in Spain. Loads of fun to ride. The GS is in its element here. The road goes through two passes: the Port del Canto and the Port de la Creu de Perves. In the meantime, a moment to cool down the excitement and lunch at Laspaúles Restaurant. After about 7-8 hours we arrive at an amazing hotel, located in a restored 17th century monastery. Here we will spend 2 nights, getting our batteries recharged. The hotel's spa will definitely come in handy.
DAY 4: 325 km distance, to be covered in about 8 hours
A fine breakfast, briefing and the most interesting day of this tour. Ahead of us is a 325-kilometer loop through the highest passes of the Pyrenees. Those who want to enjoy the majesty of the mountains or go at a more leisurely pace can leave early in the morning. On the route a whole lot of attractions: The 3-kilometer D'Aragnouet tunnel between Spain and France, the sections by which the Tour de France passes, the highest passes of the Pyrenees: Col d'Aspin, Col du Tourmalet (this pass has been ridden by Tour de France cyclists more than 85 times), Col d'Aubisque and return through the Col du Pourtalet pass located between France and Spain. This day we will circle the Pyrenees National Park with its highest peaks and return to our hotel for a well-deserved rest in the evening.
DAY 5: 310 km distance, to be covered in about 8 hours.
After a briefing, we leave the Barcelo Monasterio de Boltana and head towards Carcassone. We're in for 310 kilometers of great fun on Spanish and French villeins. There are mountain serpentines along the way, the 5-kilometer Tunnel de Viella and the Col de Portet d'Aspet pass. And countless opportunities to stop and admire the incredible nature of the Pyrenees. For lunch, we recommend stopping in the tourist village of Vielha. Finally, descend into the valley and arrive at your hotel in UNESCO-listed Carcassone. Our hotel is located at the city walls and from here we will set off for an evening tour of the city full of history, whose origins date back to 3500 BC.
DAY 6: 330 km distance, to be covered in about 8 hours
We have an early breakfast and set off without delay, as we have 330km of twist-laden driving ahead of us. The route leads through the Principality of Andorra, where we stop for lunch. On the way, we pass through the Port d'Envalira pass, climbing 2,400 meters above sea level to the Pas de la Casa pass. It's worth stopping in the village of La Seu d'Urgell to take a moment to contemplate the cathedral, built in the early 12th century. Later, the route takes us along the mountain road to Ripoll to finally bring us to the extremely atmospheric Mas Prat de Castellar hotel in Olot, located on a mountainside. Here we will relax and have a good dinner. There is also a spa for those who are willing.
DAY 7: 220 km distance, to be covered in about 5 hours.
Regular schedule. A delicious breakfast and briefing. We're getting a little sad already, because this is the last day of driving on the heated Spanish asphalts. Fortunately, we still have more than 220 km of road ahead as well as a lot of fun. We leave the hotel and head into the Catalan area of extinct volcanoes, then lunch at the great restaurant La Carpa De l'Estany. We pass Girona and drop onto a scenic, curvy route taking us along the seashore to Barcelona itself. In Barcelona, a comfortable hotel awaits us, dinner and a city tour with a Polish-speaking guide who will take us to the more and less famous places.
DAY 8: Flight back to Poland. Flight time should not exceed 3 hours.
From the hotel we will take you to the airport, from where you will take a direct flight to Poland. In the meantime, of course, we will tell you where else you can go with us. Because we are sure that we will see you again soon!
