Day two: Edinburgh - Aviemore route. 280 km distance to be covered in 6 hours.
You leave beautiful Edinburgh, heading north. You will reach the town of Callender, where you will have a stop. This is a geographically important point, as it lies exactly on the fault line between the mountainous Highlands region, dotted with numerous lakes, and the lowland Lowlands. The next section passes Loch Lubnaig and Loch Earn. You'll traverse the north shore of Loch Tay to Kenmore, where you'll stop at The Scottish Crannog Centre and learn about the history of Scotland. About 30 kilometers further on you'll reach Victorian Pitlochry, where you'll enjoy lunch. Pitlochry has become a popular tourist destination since the railroad arrived here in 1863.
Day Three: Aviemore - Dornoch Route. 320 km distance to be covered in 7 hours.
Today you will face a fantastic motorcycle route. You will circle around Lake Loch Ness, the second largest in Scotland, but due to its depth (at its deepest point it is 224 meters) it is considered the most voluminous. Here you will have the opportunity to learn about the legend of the famous monster. You will then head towards Dingwall and Portmahomack, located on the east coast of Scotland. Countless twists and turns and amazing views await you. At the end of the day, you will take a short tour to Dunrobin Castle, home of the Earl of Sutherland.
Day Four: Dornoch - Scourie Route. 280 km distance to be covered in about 7 hours.
On the fourth day, the narrow and winding routes of the north coast of Scotland await you. This is a true remote area where traffic is minimal. The beaches in this part of the world are scenic and generally rested by a handful of tourists. You'll see the popular Farr Bay, located near the town of Bettyhill, and Scotland's most beautiful beach at Kinlochbervie. You will end today's journey in Durness, which is the northernmost town in the UK.
Day five: Scourie - Gairloch route. 240 km distance to be covered in 5-6 hours.
Today you will travel along the west coast, where the scenery and views that surrounded you until now will completely change. The coastline is more cliffy, which you will see when we reach Kylesk and Nedd. There will also be a chance to see the 60-meter cliffs near Old Man Stoer. After a lunch break in the Summer Isles, you will again hit the narrow and winding roads of the coast, where you will find breathtaking views, including the sea, islands and crystalline glacial lakes. This is definitely one of the more scenic sections on our route.
Day six: Gairloch - Broadford route. 230 km distance to be covered in about 6 hours.
You leave the atmospheric hotel, heading along Loch Marie to Kinlochewe and then to Torridon and Shieldaig. From there you propel along the coast until you reach the small town of Applecross. Along the entire route you'll be treated to incredible views. We have planned a coffee break at a popular cafe before you cross the very winding and highest road in Scotland. Steep climbs that rise to 624 meters with a 20% gradient are just ahead of you. Reaching the village of Plockton, you will also visit one of the most photographed castles in Scotland - Eilean Donan. On the way to your destination, the island of Skyle, you will find the world's last manual ferry. It crosses 600 meters of sea between the mainland and the Isle of Skye, where an overnight stay is planned. An additional loop around the Isle of Skye has been planned for those who are willing. The entire island is rich in tourist and sightseeing spots. You can see Dunvegan Castle, which is the only castle in Scotland to have been continuously owned by a single calan for 800 years, or the 60-meter Kilt Rock waterfall located on the Cliffs.
Day seven: Braodford - Edinburgh route. 380 km distance to be covered around 8 hours.
Finally, we left the biggest attraction of the trip - the most beautiful road in Britain, the so-called The Road to the Isles. For many years, the route has attracted motorcycle enthusiasts. You leave the Isle of Skye and begin your return to Edinburgh, heading to Armadale and taking the ferry to Mallaig. On your return to the mainland you pass Morraru, one of Scotland's more attractive beaches. A little further along your route is Glenfinnan. Here you'll see the Glenfinnan Railway Viaduct, famous for many movie sets, including Harry Potter. Heading to Fort William, you'll see Britain's highest peak. The Connell and Ballachulish suspension bridges also await you. In the afternoon, you'll arrive in Edinburgh, where you'll pass your motorcycle and end your party.
Day Eight: Departure to Poland. Your direct flight to Poland should not exceed 3 hours.
Depending on the flight you choose, there will be a transfer to the airport from your hotel about 3 hours before your departure to Poland. The sample itinerary above, is subject to change depending on available flights and weather conditions in Scotland at the time.
