DAY 1: Flight to Reykjavik. Direct flight should not exceed 4 hours
Direct flight from Warsaw not more than 4.5 hours. A transfer will be waiting at the destination airport to take you to your hotel, where motorcycles and our guides are waiting.
DAY 2: Distance of 410 km, to be covered in 9 hours
The first day is the day you will start your journey from Reykjavik - the beautiful capital of Iceland. On this day you can drive either alone or in a group of other enthusiasts. You will be heading east along the asphalt, popular Route 1 - then the first coffee break awaits you in the town of Hella. After two hours of pleasant driving, the Eyjafjallajökull volcano, famous for its recent eruption, will appear before your eyes. Moments later, the typical Icelandic landscape awaits you, headed by black beaches and high cliffs. The mountainous regions of the island will in turn charm you with the 60-meter Skógafoss waterfall. Next, the wreckage of an American Douglas DC-3 airliner, which crashed in tragic circumstances in 1973, will appear before your eyes. If the weather is sunny, you will also have lunch on the black beach of Reynisfjara, overlooking the arched rock of Dyrholaey. Driving along the coast, you'll approach Europe's largest glacier called Vatnajökull, which hides active volcanoes underneath. At its foot you will see the Svartifoss waterfall and a fabulous gorge. However, that's still not all - heading towards the hotel you will reach the amazing Jökulsárlón Lake - a testament to the changing world. It is here that the Lagoon owes its fame to the picturesque crags that break off from the shore of the glacier. From there, it's nearly 30 kilometers to rest in a comfortable hotel.
DAY 3: Distance of 340 kilometers, to be covered in 8 hours
There's a little more excitement in store on the second day, involving descending from the asphalt. Your adventure climate will begin on the mountainous gravel road F208. On this day you will traverse one of the most interesting regions of Iceland - Fjallabaki. Which will grace you with beautiful views - it's a seismically active region with warm rivers and steaming mountains. Passing through stagnant fields and moss-covered lava flows, together with the group you will reach the mountainous area of Landmannalaugar. It is here that a real off-road climate awaits you - at the campground you will take a break from driving, taking a dip in the hot river, having lunch in nature and sipping coffee, prepared in field conditions. Once you've recharged your batteries, you'll enjoy a pleasant drive along the paved road that runs along the Pjorsa River. Passing the most active volcano Hekla and the so-called entrance to hell you will reach a unique attraction called Geysir. Here you will see an unusual geyser, named Strokkur, which gives a visual display every 10 minutes, throwing a column of hot water into the air. After this spectacle, the road will lead you straight to a luxury hotel.
DAY 4: Distance of 370 kilometers, to be covered in about 8 hours
The first 190 kilometers of the route is a gravel road. The key point on this road will be the mighty Gullfoss waterfall, where you'll have your morning coffee in an atmospheric café. The next 90 kilometers is a beautiful, scenic and gravel road called Kjolur, abundant with bridges, leading through an upland area of the island called the interiors. The route will lead you to the active geothermal field of Hveravellir, where a relaxing swim or an exciting walk among the bubbling springs is possible. After an early lunch, you'll set off along the Kjolur gravel route, leading between the Langjokull and Hofsjokull glaciers. Traversing the northern side of Iceland, you will stop in the village of Varmahlid to recharge your batteries with a local meal. Then, driving along Route 1 - along a river valley and through a range of mountains, you'll reach the city of Akureyri - Iceland's second largest city. Along the way, you'll also visit the port town of Husavik, which is famous for its whale-watching excursions out to sea - which is how you'll end this exciting day. After a two-hour excursion on the water, you will arrive at your hotel, which is located in the center of the town, abundant with atmospheric pubs and a charming little harbor.
DAY 5: Distance of 430 km, to be covered in about 8 hours
On this day you are given the option to follow solo or in a group. Then you'll enjoy an easy, paved, transit route, leading straight to the waterfall of gods and lovers, called Godafoss. After a coffee break, driving along the valley, through Akureyri and Varmahlid, bouncing north you will reach the town of Skagafjordur with its distinctive black beach. After a tasty lunch, a straightforward drive awaits you, leading to your hotel where you will gather your strength for another exciting day of driving.
DAY 6: Distance of 170 km, to be covered in about 6 hours
On the fifth day of the adventure, a group ride along the atmospheric gravel road F550 and 52 will lead you to Barnafoss waterfall. Then a little more excitement awaits you - traversing a little-traveled mountain road, known as the "beginner's interiors." Then you will pass through the Kaldidalur Pass, located at 727 meters and the interior between the Ok and Langjokull glaciers. You will also see a typical rescue station found in desolate parts of the island. Next, you'll enjoy a lunch break in Borgarnes, a town located on the headland. In the evening, you will revisit Reykjavik - the capital and largest city of Iceland, where you will have free time to enjoy.
DAY 7: A distance of 200 km to be covered in about 5 hours
On this day, driving (alone or in a group) on a comfortable paved road, you will arrive at the historically important place called Þingvellir. This is where one of the world's oldest parliaments convened, declaring Iceland's independence. It is also a geographically important place - seismically active all the time. It is here that tectonic plates meet, creating characteristic deep fissures. The National Park located here has been listed by UNESCO for a reason - it is one of Iceland's most important tourist destinations. The afternoon is a time to relax and swim in the hot waters of SkyLagoon or take an amazing tour inside the volcano Inside the volcano and return to the hotel.
