Day 1 Arrival in Anchorage

Your Alaska motorbike tour begins the moment you board your flight, and upon arrival at Anchorage airport, our shuttle service will already be waiting for you at the airport to ensure a smooth drive from the airport to your hotel.Upon arrival and check-in at the hotel in the evening there will be a short information briefing where our guide will outline the safety rules, itinerary and answer any questions you may have. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the adventurous days ahead and to get to know your travel companions better.

We will make sure that the process of purchasing air tickets is as convenient as possible for you. We will offer you assistance in purchasing tickets in economy or business class, according to your preferences, to make your trip comfortable and enjoyable from the very beginning.

We also offer support on entry procedures to the USA to help you through all the formalities. The journey from Poland to the USA usually takes about 12-18 hours, depending on the destination and whether the flight is direct or with connecting flights.

Day 2 Acclimatisation and motorbike pick-up.

The second day of our Alaska adventure is dedicated to acclimatising and adjusting to the new time zone after a long flight. This is the perfect time to rest and recover, preparing for the exciting days ahead.

On this day, you will have the opportunity to explore charming Anchorage - Alaska's largest city, which offers many attractions. You may want to visit the Anchorage Museum, which offers rich displays on Alaska's history and culture, including Native art, or the history of the region. Another interesting attraction is the Alaska Native Heritage Center, a place where you can gain a deeper understanding of Alaska Native culture through interactive exhibits, dance, music and arts and crafts.

For nature lovers, a walk along the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail offers beautiful mountain and ocean views, as well as wildlife viewing opportunities. It is also an ideal opportunity to visit some of the many cafes and restaurants serving local delicacies such as salmon and king crab.

We will end the day by picking up the motorbikes that will be our companions en route through Alaska. This is an important moment where each participant will be able to familiarise themselves with their motorbike, check all the features and make sure everything is ready for the adventures ahead.

Day 3 From Anchorage to Homer. A distance of 360km, to be covered in around 6-8 hours.

The third day of our motorbike tour takes us from Anchorage to the picturesque village of Homer. This route is a real treat for motorbike enthusiasts, offering not only the pleasure of riding on open roads, but also unforgettable views.

As you travel from Anchorage to Homer, the road passes through changing landscapes - from forests and mountains to open spaces with views of the waters of Cook Bay. Riding this route is the perfect opportunity to feel the freedom and power of motorbike adventure. Alaska's open roads offer perfect riding conditions, where every turn reveals a new and breathtaking view and the fresh, clean air energises you every kilometre.

Homer, also known as the 'end of the road', is one of the most charming places in Alaska. It is a town of artists, fishermen and naturalists, famous for its friendly atmosphere and extraordinary views of Kachemak Bay. Homer attracts visitors with its natural beauty, as well as its rich cultural and artistic offerings. Here you can find numerous galleries, craft shops and cafés that create a unique local atmosphere.

Coming to Homer is also an opportunity to sample the local culinary specialities, especially the fresh seafood that is the pride of the region. An evening in Homer is the perfect time to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of this special place before the next day's motorbike adventure begins.

Day 4 From Homer to Girdwood. A distance of 300km, to be covered in around 5 hours.

The fourth day of our motorbike tour takes us from scenic Homer to Girdwood, offering one of the most scenic routes in all of Alaska. This part of the journey provides not only the motorcycling thrill of winding roads and dynamic changes of scenery, but also the unforgettable views that are the essence of Alaska.

The journey will begin with a drive through mountainous terrain, offering sweeping views of mountains, valleys and forests. This route is a true test of any motorcyclist's skills, offering both technical challenges and countless opportunities to stop and admire the stunning panoramas.

Passing through picturesque villages such as Ninilchik and Cooper Landing will give you a feel for the local atmosphere and culture, as well as the opportunity to sample local delicacies in small roadside restaurants. At each stop, you can immerse yourself in the Alaskan atmosphere by talking to locals and learning about the stories of this remarkable place.

Girdwood, our destination at the end of the day, is known for its cosy guesthouses and excellent restaurants, and as a great base for further exploration. Nestled against the backdrop of the Chugach Mountains, the village is renowned for its beautiful walking and cycling trails, making it the perfect place to end a busy day on a motorbike.

This part of the route is the essence of motorcycling adventure - combining challenge, natural beauty and exposure to Alaskan culture, which together create an unforgettable experience that will stay with us for a long time.

Day 5 From Girdwood to Talkeetna. A distance of 300km, to be covered in around 8 hours.

For the fifth day of our adventure, we planned a route full of challenges and beautiful landscapes from Girdwood to Talkeetna. Riding our BMW GS motorbikes on the gravel roads of Alaska is the essence of the 'Spirit of GS' - the spirit of adventure, freedom and reliability. These legendary motorbikes are specially designed to stand up to off-road hardships, making every kilometre of this route provide not only thrills but also unforgettable views.

During this stage, you will ride through a changing landscape, including forests and riverbanks, allowing you to fully experience Alaska's wilderness. The gravel passes will not only test your driving skills, but also allow you to enjoy the unparalleled sense of accomplishment that comes from conquering challenging routes.

Talkeetna, our stop at the end of the day, is a picturesque town that may have inspired the setting for the TV series 'Alaska Stop'. After an adventurous day, we will spend the evening in Talkeetna integrating with the local community. We will visit a local tavern where we can exchange experiences from the road while enjoying live music and good food.

This day will not only be a test of motorbike skills, but also a great opportunity to understand why BMW GS motorbikes are so appreciated by adventure lovers all over the world.

Day 6 Recreation in Talkeetna.

The next day of our motorbike tour of Alaska will be spent in the picturesque village of Talkeetna, offering participants a day full of opportunities to relax and adventure as they please.

For those seeking relaxation and tranquillity, Talkeetna offers beautiful scenery and cosy corners to relax in. The opportunity to take a leisurely stroll through the countryside, enjoy local cuisine in cafes or visit charming art galleries is the perfect way to recharge your batteries.

For adventure lovers, we offer an exhilarating avionics flight over the McKinley Denali Glacier. This is a unique opportunity to take in the majestic views of North America's highest peak from a bird's eye view, experiencing the glacier's incredible landscapes from a perspective that no other tour will provide.

For the more advanced and tireless motorcyclists who want more of a challenge, we offer the option of a 200km off-road route. This route takes you through scenic but challenging terrain with river fords, giving you the chance for a true wilderness motorbike adventure.

Talkeetna, with its wide range of different activities, is a place where there is something for everyone, whether you are looking for tranquillity or adrenaline adventure. The day is sure to be remembered as a time of great experiences and relaxation in the heart of Alaska.

Day 7 From Talkeetna to Chena. A distance of 540km, to be covered in around 9 hours.

The seventh day of our motorbike tour will take us from Talkeetna to Chen, taking us through the heart of Alaska and offering unparalleled views and an unforgettable motorbike experience. This part of the route is the true heart of wild Alaska, with the opportunity to experience nature in its most pristine form.

The journey will begin with a departure from charming Talkeetna. The route passes through picturesque and varied landscapes - from dense forests to vast tundra to majestic mountains. With open spaces and few people in this part of the state, every motorcyclist can feel a real sense of freedom and closeness to nature.

Passing through areas such as Denali State Park will give participants the chance to enjoy the wildlife and, if they are lucky, the chance to see wild animals such as bears, moose and eagles.

Our destination is Chena, which is best known for its hot springs, the perfect place to relax after an intense day of riding. Enjoying the natural geothermal baths will not only relax your tired muscles, but also allow you to take a moment to unwind in the scenic Alaskan countryside. The hot springs at Chena are natural pools whose waters are rich in minerals that have beneficial effects on health and well-being. An evening at Chena is also a great opportunity to enjoy local attractions, and the hot springs add a unique character to the place, making it an oasis of peace and relaxation in wild Alaska. On this day, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, you'll take a dip in the warm waters while admiring the starry sky, which is sure to be remembered as one of the most relaxing moments of our trip.

Day 8 From Chen to Paxson. A distance of 360km, to be covered in around 8 hours.

Day eight of our motorbike tour takes us from Chen to Paxson, with a key stop in Fairbanks - Alaska's second largest city. This route immerses us deeper into the Alaskan landscape and culture, offering both the beauty of wilderness and the richness of urban life.

We begin our journey by leaving Chen, continuing towards Fairbanks. Often referred to as the 'Bank of Gold', this city is full of historical sites and culture, with numerous attractions that reflect the region's rich past.

After leaving Fairbanks, our route takes us through scenic and often wild terrain, taking us towards Paxson. Riding this part of Alaska is a real pleasure for motorcyclists, with sweeping views of vast forests, mountain peaks and wild rivers, which are often the backdrop to the countless lakes and swampy areas typical of the region.

Arriving in Paxson caps a day full of diverse experiences, from the urban hustle and bustle of Fairbanks to the quiet and isolated paths leading to the small community of Paxson. This is the perfect place to unwind after an eventful day, where we will be able to relax surrounded by Alaskan wildlife, recharge our batteries and prepare for the days adventures ahead.

Day 9 From Paxson to Valdez. A distance of 320 km, to be covered in around 6 hours.

The ninth day of our motorbike trip takes us from Paxson to Valdez, one of the most scenic routes in Alaska. This part of the journey is packed with winding roads, spectacular mountain passes and stunning waterfalls, offering an unforgettable experience for any motorcycling enthusiast aboard BMW GS motorbikes.

BMW GS motorbikes, ideally suited to a wide variety of road conditions, perform brilliantly on Alaskan trails. Crossing Thompson Pass, the highest mountain pass in Alaska, participants can experience the full capabilities of these rugged machines. Their advanced technology and superior suspension allow for a smooth ride on both tarmac and gravel sections, which is crucial in the challenging conditions of Alaskan roads.

After crossing the pass, the road takes us to Valdez, located on a beautiful bay at the end of a fjord. Often referred to as the 'Switzerland of Alaska' due to its picturesque location and surrounding mountains, Valdez is the perfect place to end a busy day of driving. The BMW GS provides not only comfort and safety, but also an unforgettable driving experience, allowing you to enjoy every moment of this unique adventure.

The journey from Paxson to Valdez is one of the most exciting stages of our trip, full of landscapes that will delight you at every turn. It's a day that combines adrenaline with relaxation, allowing you to fully experience the beauty and wildness of Alaska from the perspective of the saddle of a BMW GS motorbike.

Day 10 Rest and recreation in Valdez

We will spend the tenth day of our motorbike adventure in picturesque Valdez, taking a break from the intense riding and giving our BMW motorbikes a break. Known for its incredible landscapes and rich marine fauna, Valdez offers the perfect conditions to relax and enjoy the local attractions.

One of the day's highlights will be a cruise boat, where participants will have the opportunity to admire majestic glaciers and abundant marine fauna. The cruise on the waters of the bay will not only provide relaxation and fresh sea air, but also the opportunity to see whales, seals, eagles and other wildlife in their natural habitat. This unforgettable experience will allow you to observe Alaska's natural beauty up close.

A day in Valdez is also a great opportunity to sample local delicacies, especially the famous King Crab. Freshly caught, succulent crab meat served in local restaurants is a true gourmet feast. The opportunity to taste such a unique dish, prepared in the traditional way, is sure to be a highlight of the day.

A leisure day in Valdez will allow us to recharge our batteries and enjoy the tranquillity and charms of this unique place, before we set off on the next stages of our motorbike adventure through Alaska.

Day 11: From Valdez to Glacier View. A distance of 315 km, to be covered in around 6 hours.

The eleventh day of our trip will take us from Valdez to Glacier View, taking us through some of Alaska's most scenic terrain. This route is ideal for motorbike and nature lovers, offering both exciting road challenges and unforgettable views.

As you travel from Valdez, the road winds through mountainous scenery, offering views of majestic peaks and vast forests. This is the perfect opportunity to experience the full adventure of the open roads, where each turn reveals another spectacular panorama.

Upon arrival at Glacier View, participants will be treated to stunning views of the glaciers that characterise the area. The site offers not only stunning scenery, but also the opportunity to explore it up close. For those who wish, a helicopter flight over the glacier will be available, a chance to see these impressive ice formations from a whole new perspective.

A helicopter flight over a glacier is not only a thrilling experience, but also a unique opportunity to see the extraordinary nature of Alaska from above, which will certainly be remembered as one of the most spectacular experiences of the trip.

This day is sure to provide an incredible experience, combining the passion of motorcycling with the opportunity to explore Alaska's natural beauties from both the ground and the air.

Day 12 - From Glacier View to Anchorage. A distance of 180km, to be covered in around 6 hours.

The final day of motorcycling will take us from Glacier View back to Anchorage, from where we started our journey. This route, is a true gem among Alaska's motorbike routes, offering unforgettable views and challenges for any motorcyclist.

The winding road winds through scenic landscapes full of glaciers, rivers and passes, providing not only a thrilling ride but also incredible views that are quintessentially Alaskan wilderness. This is a chance to once again experience the beauty of this state by traversing its heartland on two wheels.

Back in Anchorage, it's time to turn around and say goodbye to our motorbikes. In the evening, tour participants will gather at a local brewery to celebrate the completion of our tour around Alaska. This will be a great opportunity to reminisce together about the adventures we've had, exchange stories and photos from the road, and enjoy a well-earned rest after intense days full of excitement.

This end of our trip not only sums up all the experiences, but also strengthens new friendships and memories that will surely stay with us long after we return home.

Day 13 Return flight to Poland.

The final day of our motorbike adventure will begin with a leisurely morning breakfast, giving us time to say goodbye to our new friends and exchange contacts. After breakfast, a transfer will take us to the airport from where we will begin our journey back to Poland.

The return flight from Alaska to Poland usually takes about 12-15 hours, depending on the air route chosen and any connecting flights. Although the journey can be long, the time on the plane can be used to relax, reflect and organise photos and memories of an unforgettable trip.

Arrival in Poland marks the end of our incredible trip through the wilds of Alaska. Although the physical journey has come to an end, the memories, experiences and friendships acquired during the expedition will remain with us for a long time. Returning home is also a time for reflection and planning our next adventures, which are sure to be just as exciting.
